It encourages and promotes cycling as a mode of transportation, which has numerous benefits such as reducing traffic congestion, improving air quality, and promoting physical fitness.
  2. Health and Well-being: Cycling to work promotes physical activity, leading to improved health and well-being among employees. Regular exercise can reduce the risk of various health conditions, including obesity, heart disease, and mental health issues. Providing a cycle shelter demonstrates the employer’s commitment to employee wellness.
  3. Cost Savings: Cycling is a cost-effective mode of transportation for employees. By providing a cycle shelter, employers encourage employees to choose cycling over more expensive alternatives like driving or public transportation. This can result in cost savings for employees in terms of fuel, parking fees, and public transportation fares.

This can contribute to increased employee engagement, morale, and loyalty, as employees feel appreciated and cared for by their organisation.
